At the performance, our Education Team has put together unique presentations to inform you – our audience – about the situation affecting Haitian women in the year since the earthquake, and materials from the DC Rape Crisis Center to give our audience information and resources about domestic violence and sexual assault here in DC.

And because we are crafty creatures, our cast has also made vagina lollipops (courtesy of The Purple Feather), vagina jewelry, postcards, and pillows for your purchasing pleasure.

HAPPY HOUR TO SUPPORT V-DAY DC

When:  Tuesday, February 8th, starting at 5:30pm

Where:  Tabaq Bistro, (Red Room), 1336 U Street NW Washington DC 20009

Join the ladies of V-Day DC for a happy hour to raise money and
awareness for V-Day DC’s 2011 beneficiaries, V-Day and The DC Rape
Crisis Center.  10% of liquor sales will support the women and girls
of these causes.  We hope to have a signature cocktail available as
well.  Attendees may reserve tickets at the happy hour, and there will
be opportunities to donate: donations are encouraged!  This is a fun
social fundraising activity to get pumped for our production of…
